50 Years Later

Robert Shelton, Imperial Wizard of the United Klans of America Knight of the Ku Klux Klan told the senate finance committee that the proposed free textbook program would jeopardize the future of Alabama by opening the gateway to the federal Government. Shelton purported that white taxpayers would carry the burden of financing the plan that would benefit black residents more. Here we are 50 years later.
